Matching the requirements of your course related study (i.e., Master level or PhD), you will have the opportunity to work as part of a broader research project. This opportunity will include personal and professional skill development, as well as research study related training associated with the research methodologies in the area of biomechanics and motor behaviour. Throughout your study, your development will be overseen by two research supervisors.

This opportunity is open for application to students looking to complete a post-graduate degree, with an interest and passion for exercise and sport science, and specifically movement skill development. Project involvement will benefit those presently studying exercise and sport science, or those wanting to study in the area with an appropriate study background (e.g., a sciences under-graduate degree). It will be helpful, although not paramount, if applicants have experience in research skills, and with competency in using data analysis software (e.g., SPSS). Likewise, professional conduct, personal organization, communication, written skill, and punctuality will be important. For the successful applicant, you will be based at The Cumberland Campus under the supervision of Dr. Steve Cobley and Prof. Ross Sanders. The weekly time period of commitment on the project is subject to the applicant’s course related and personal circumstances.
