The opportunity studies brain structural and functional architecture in healthy and disordered brain with neuroimaging, and uses the novel knowledge gained to improve the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses.
Masters/PHD
The candidate will analyze comprehensive structural/functional/diffusion MRI data using graph-theoretic approaches and modern machine learning methods such as deep learning, aiming to develop image biomarkers for mental disorders, link image features with genetic markers and medical syndromes, and optimize treatment, like brain stimulation.
Students from engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or neuroscience background are all welcome. An open mind for interdisciplinary research is desired.
